Do you support the right of faith-based schools and organisations to only hire people who share their ethos?
Yes.Do you support the push to ban ‘conversion therapy’ (including prayer and faith-based counselling) for people who are struggling with their gender or sexual orientation?
Yes. For the same reason gender ideologies has infiltrated society. A slippery slope to not ban or remove one but ban another.Do you support banning biological males from competing in women’s sport?
Yes. I would extend this to school sports as well.
Would you support the formation of a parliamentary committee to ensure the recommendations of the Commission of Inquiry into Child Sex Abuse are properly implemented?
Yes.Do you support banning late-term abortions (when a baby’s life is viable outside the womb), except where the mother’s life is at risk?
Yes.Do you support compulsory pre-commitment cards for poker machine users?
No. This hinders free will.Do you support ongoing state funding of Dark Mofo?
Yes. I base this decision on economic stimulus only.Do you support the decriminalisation of recreational drugs?
Yes. I have put out media release regarding this in the past, the decriminalization mainly cannabis would alleviate much of the pressures on the department of justice and the state all while benefiting those who are in medical need. I have also called for amendments to the industrial hemp bill removing restrictions that are stopping an industry thriving in multiple ways that can benefit Tasmanians. Outside of the above mentioned, I think we need to have an open parliamentary discussion.
