Do you support the right of faith-based schools and organisations to only hire people who share their ethos?
Yes. I have always supported the principle that it is highly desirable to have teachers who predominantly share the school's faith at a faith-based school teaching its students, wherever possible.

Do you support the push to ban ‘conversion therapy’ (including prayer and faith-based counselling) for people who are struggling with their gender or sexual orientation? 
No. I do not believe that prayer and faith-based counselling should be labelled as conversion therapy when such counselling is used appropriately to support an individual's beliefs and recovery.

Do you support banning biological males from competing in women’s sport? 
Yes.

Would you support the formation of a parliamentary committee to ensure the recommendations of the Commission of Inquiry into Child Sex Abuse are properly implemented?
Yes. As the former Attorney-General responsible for the Commission of Inquiry I have been dismayed at the lack of action on vital reforms necessary to protect children and victim survivors.

Do you support banning late-term abortions (when a baby’s life is viable outside the womb), except where the mother’s life is at risk? 
Yes.

Do you support compulsory pre-commitment cards for poker machine users? 
Yes. This would allow people to self-regulate their usage and limit expenditure.

Do you support ongoing state funding of Dark Mofo? 
Yes. On the condition the festival is far more sympathetic to those of faith. For example, I have never felt the sideways red 'cross' is an appropriate logo for such a festival.

Do you support the decriminalisation of recreational drugs? 
No.
