Do you support the right of faith-based schools and organisations to only hire people who share their ethos?
No. All businesses are not allowed to discriminate against religion so why should faith-based schools be any different. It should be if the person can do the work that is required then religion, race etc should not come into play.Do you support the push to ban ‘conversion therapy’ (including prayer and faith-based counselling) for people who are struggling with their gender or sexual orientation?
Yes. We should not try and make people believe something because we believe that way. We need to help everyone and guide them to be who they are. We are all human and we may disagree with how people decide to live but we must respect their wishes.Do you support banning biological males from competing in women’s sport?
Yes. Biological males have a distinct advantage against biological females in a lot of areas. If it's a sport where there is mixed genders then that's different (like some equestrian events etc)Would you support the formation of a parliamentary committee to ensure the recommendations of the Commission of Inquiry into Child Sex Abuse are properly implemented?
Yes.Do you support banning late-term abortions (when a baby’s life is viable outside the womb), except where the mother’s life is at risk?
No. A blanket ban is not ideal. It needs to be on a case by case basis.Do you support compulsory pre-commitment cards for poker machine users?
No. While it is great in theory, we need to let adults be accountable for their actions. In saying that, there would be times that a pre-commitment card would be a good idea like for problem gamblers and if it's a condition made by a court for any reason.Do you support ongoing state funding of Dark Mofo?
Yes. While some people don't agree with what happens at Dark Mofo, it does bring in tourism and money to the state. If people don't like it then they have the choice not to attend. We shouldn't stop others from enjoying it because a few don't like it.Do you support the decriminalisation of recreational drugs?
No. We need to have more education in schools and colleges about drugs and their affects not only on them but also people around them.
